What areas do you cover?

We proudly offer dog walking services across the villages between East Leake and Nether Broughton. Our service areas include East Leake, Costock, Rempstone, Wymeswold, Wysall, Willoughby, Widmerpool, Old Dalby Upper Broughton, and Nether Broughton.

Whether you’re in one of these lovely villages, we’re here to provide fun, safe, and reliable walks for your furry friends!

Where will my dog be walked?

The dogs are walked in a green, open space with chance to run off the lead (with owners permission). For dogs who need to stay on-lead, we use extra-long leads in open spaces. This way, they can still have plenty of freedom to play, socialise with the other dogs, and enjoy their walk while staying safe. This can range from country parks, woodland areas and countryside walks. I try to change the walks to give your dog more variation.

How do you introduce new dogs?

When introducing a new dog to the group, I take a calm and gradual approach to ensure everyone feels comfortable. First, I’ll assess the new dog’s personality and social preferences to match them with the right group of dogs.

The introduction usually starts with one-on-one meetings in a neutral space with just my dog Nelly. She's friendly with all dogs and normally helps ease the new dogs into the group better. Once they’re comfortable, I’ll slowly introduce them to the rest of the group during a walk, keeping things positive and controlled.

I always prioritise safety and monitor interactions closely to ensure all dogs are happy, relaxed, and enjoying their time together.

What are the first steps?

Initially, we’ll chat about your dog’s needs, routine, and any special requirements they might have. I will try my best to fit and adapt to your dogs needs. Next step, I’ll arrange a meet-and-greet to introduce myself to your dog. This is an important step to ensure your dog feels comfortable and relaxed with me.

I’ll also take the time to get to know your dog’s personality, likes, and dislikes. If they’re comfortable, I will take a short walk together to help them get used to me. Building trust with your dog is my priority, so we’ll go at their pace to make the process as stress-free and positive as possible!
